Pediatric Nursing

Pediatric nursing is a subspecialty of nursing that focuses on paediatrics and the medical treatment of children from infancy through adolescence. This is a crucial area since children's health differs from that of adults due to the growth and development that occurs during childhood. Registered nurses who specialise in caring for children and adolescents from birth through adolescence are known as paediatric nurses. They must have a thorough understanding of child development and growth, as diseases and conditions in children are frequently present and treated differently than in adults. Pediatric nurses generally build stronger relationship links with their patients than adult nurses do since their patients are so much younger. Even while some paediatric nurses do duties that are comparable to those performed in an adult nursing unit, they must do so with extra care and attention.
